REN – Recursive Entity Network

An AI agent that thinks about how it thinks.

REN started as an experiment in structured reflection, a digital mind that doesn’t just do things, but considers what it’s doing while it does them. At its roots, REN is a cognition engine: loops of perception, evaluation, and action, stitched together with a code and a lot of ambient sensing.

What began as a thought experiment turned into a working framework that ingests context, plans, and self-adjusts. It’s still early, but REN already shows work in progress output of recursive insight, the ability to not just respond, but to process and structure its own process.

The original intent was to explore, as a project a method for automation and robotics to merge with MCP principles and be ambiently aware of surroundings and conditions. the connective tissue between robotics, AI, and creative process. Each post below tracks the build, from cognition loops to actuator routers to moments where it really shines to integrate AI and ML into the real world, on a physical level.
