I built this interactive web app as a playful take on generative storytelling, a murder mystery party generator that spins up unique whodunnits right in the browser.
It’s powered entirely by JavaScript and runs locally, using a mix of rule-based templates and lightweight AI logic.
You can quickly create a scenario with just a few sliders, or switch into Story Builder mode to craft relationships, secrets, and motives Mad-Libs-style.
The app then generates a complete cast list, clues, and a narrator’s script, ready to print or share.
It’s part of an ongoing experiment in structured generative narrative, showing how procedural logic and AI prompting can coexist, where creativity can still feel authored.
