REN — Recursive Entity Network
Ambient cognition, memory, agency, and physical action.
REN began as an experiment in structured reflection: a digital mind that does not simply act, but considers what it is doing while it does it. It is an evolving architecture for maintaining context, reasoning about action, and coordinating work across software and physical systems.
Its recurring loop moves from perception to context and memory, then through evaluation and planning into action. Each action changes what the system perceives next. The aim is broader than an assistant-shaped interface: a framework for exploring structured cognition, orchestration, and self-adjustment.
The project grew from a question about how automation, robotics, and ambient computing might meet. REN now connects AI models, memory, software tools, and actuator routing as it moves from software cognition toward embodied agency. It remains active, early, and deliberately unfinished.
